Mortgage management provider, First Mortgage Services (FMS), have been operating in New Zealand since 2001 and had been at their existing location in Albert Street for more than 14 years. Following advice from their landlord that their tenancy space would be taken back for refurbishment at lease expiry, FMS initiated a search to find suitable alternative premises.
FMS completed a detailed review of their facilities requirements in light of approved business plans, changes in client requirements and technologies; accessibility for employees and a range of other factors that would influence the selection of their new premises and the design of their office layout.
As part of the detailed review, FMS recognised the need to engage local design and project management expertise, to drive the project to a successful completion and on the recommendation of one of their local industry contacts, engaged Malcolm & Sumner Design.
